Klingenthal/Chaux Neuve

by Dave Jarrett 1/21/2008 5:39:00 PM

The competitions were pulled off in Klingenthal despite challenging conditions for organizers. It was +10c and windy. They canceled the jumping competition on Saturday, scheduled a Mass Start race and we tried to jump again later that afternoon. We weren't able to jump so they decided to do the MS jumping competition the next day followed by a Sprint jump and then a Sprint race after that. Bill and Johnny were 3rd and 4th respectively in the MS race and were looking for podium spots. Both jumped ok in both competitions despite constantly changing wind conditions. Bill ended up 4th while Johnny 16th in the MS. Bill finished 14th and Johnny 19th in the Sprint competition.

In Chaux Neuve, Eric finished the 3rd competition in 12th place and Alex Glueck was 27th.

We are in Seefeld, AUT enjoying the sun and snow. The WCB boys will join us here this week before they head to Klingenthal for the next WCB competitions.

Until next update.
